How It All Began

In business since 1988, Epilog Laser has worked hard to become the leader in the laser engraving, cutting and marking industry. We are innovators. We are problem solvers. We are committed to designing and manufacturing the highest-quality laser systems, right here in our Golden, CO headquarters.

Our original concept was to bring CO2 laser engraving systems to both commercial customers, small business owners and the home craftsman, but we certainly didn't stop there. Over the years we developed larger, more powerful CO2 laser systems and in 2006 we expanded our product line to offer the FiberMark, a system that allows for permanent marking on all types of metals.

In 2008, Epilog launched the industry's first low-cost entry-level CO2 laser engraving system, the Epilog Zing Laser, to bring our technology to an even wider audience. Today our systems are used around the globe in a myriad of markets for seemingly endless applications.

We've been in the laser business longer than anyone else and it shows - from creating first laser to “print” directly from CorelDraw, to designing the first rotary attachment, to marketing the first large-format table, to manufacturing the first 100-watt laser, Epilog is known for implementing useful features that enhance our customers’ ability to work more efficiently and gain higher profits.

Epilog's dedication to building strong relationships with customers, distributors, vendors and employees has been paramount in building and strengthening our business.

To our customers we offer a near endless stream of support - from our online technical library and virtual training suite to our top-notch technical support staff. It is our goal to keep our customers up and running. In fact, in 2012 Epilog Laser received the 2012 North American Customer Support Value Enhancement Award from analyst firm, Frost & Sullivan.

We strive to attract and keep the best employees in the business and it shows - Epilog has ranked in the top ten places to work in the Denver-metro area for four consecutive years! Though we've welcomed some new faces aboard in the recent months, ask just about anyone at Epilog how long they've been with the company and you'll often hear 10, 15 or even 20 years!
